My Latest Project

At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen. (Isaiah 60:22, NLT)

My ongoing health issues that started in January and the coronavirus pandemic have certainly made 2020 a year I will never forget. I am happy to report, however, that I have been diligently working on my third book, His Timing. It’s a detailed account of my experiences and the lessons I learned about myself and God after suffering a brain hemorrhage in January, which left me partially paralyzed.

Writing this book has been nothing like my experience writing my first two books. Processing what I’ve gone through (and my ongoing recovery) through writing has been an effective form of therapy. I have been brought to tears many times when reading back over the prayer journal I kept during my 43 days in the hospital and reflecting on God’s mercies and healing power. I am including excerpts from my journal in the book, even though the entries are incredibly personal, because those words best capture the raw emotions I felt at the time.

I am thankful for this opportunity to share the testimony of what God has been doing in my life. He has taught me so much over the past few months, and I am excited to share those lessons with others through my passion for writing!
