Owensboro Community & Technical College features a Common Reading selection each semester. The committee chooses a novel for students and staff to read and discuss, and then the author comes and speaks on campus.
I am humbled and honored to announce that the committee chose Waverly for the Spring 2020 Common Reading. I will be speaking about the writing process in classes on campus next semester, which I am super excited about! I will also do a presentation in March that focuses on the “story behind the story” – the factual events that inspired me to write Waverly. This event is free and open to the public.
