I am a Kentucky educator and indie author. I enjoy reading, traveling, and, of course, writing. I love to write memoirs, poetry, and historical fiction, but I dabble in a little of everything.
I’m also a proud AVM survivor. An AVM is an arteriovenous malformation. Basically, that means I had some jacked up blood vessels in my brain that decided to rupture and cause a massive brain hemorrhage. To put it another way, part of my brain exploded and left me with some wicked after effects. You can read all about my health journey in my book, His Timing: A Journey of Faith, Hope, and Healing.
This blog is a space for my rambling thoughts, including excerpts from my published works and works in progress, poetry, travel and book recommendations, writing instructional strategies for the classroom, and whatever else comes out when my fingers hit the keyboard.
Please follow me on Facebook or Instagram (@amybellamyauthor)! I love meeting and interacting with other writers and readers!
