When my book, Waverly: A Novel was chosen for the Owensboro Community and Technical College Common Reads program, my intention was to attend a live event on campus and share information about the book, answer questions, etc. Then, of course, the world as we know it came to a screeching halt in the spring of 2020.
Since I wasn’t able to attend in person and we were all hunkered down staying “healthy at home,” I created a video to share with staff, students, and other community members who had read the book and participated in the program.
After the video was shared among the group, many Common Reads participants had questions and wanted more information about the novel. I totally get it! I was obsessed with this story for so long and can talk about it endlessly, so I was excited to hear others shared my enthusiasm.
One of the directors of the program shared a list of questions generated by readers, so I created a follow-up video to answer those as best I could. I’m sharing the links to both videos below.
SPOILER ALERT! Don’t watch if you haven’t finished the book yet! 🙂
